I've submitted the final manuscript for my next book "How to Fund Your Business".

It will be published by Prentice Hall Business (part of Pearson) in July 2006.

The book includes:
1. A guide to the steps involved in raising funding.
2. How to prepare your business to be ready for funding.
3. How to write your business plan.
4. An explanation of the different types of funding.
5. A guide to the many different sources of funding.
6. What and how to negotiate with funders.
7. What to do after the fundraising.

The book covers raising funds for start-up, early stage, growth and turnaround businesses.

The types of funding discussed include sales, grants, asset finance, business angels, venture capital firms, banks, som special government funded schemes, and many others.

This book took me a long time to write because I'm not naturally a numbers person, and there was an awful lot of detailed research involved. I'd wanted to write it because there wasn't a good, easy to read guide to funding that entrepreneurs would enjoy and be able to use. I wanted to write the book that I wished I had had when I started my first businesses.
